In Inclusion, we tell the stories of some of the people who live and work in Central Pennsylvania, and we show just how diverse this region is. Our goal was to give you a greater understanding of the richness of the area and the contributions made by many, and that you embrace understanding across differences. The Business Journal staff is proud to have produced this in-depth look into the faces of our region’s residents. We hope you enjoy it.
Welcome to the premiere issue of Milestones - Central Penn Business Journal's first publication dedicated to highlighting the benchmark's of the area's prominent local executives and the organizations they operate. This year marks some exciting anniversaries for many Central Pennsylvania Companies. Some are celebrating more than a century of service, while other younger companies are just making their way into the double digits. The following pages encompass the stories behind several outstanding area companies.
This year's Spring Real Estate report is chock full of stories we hope will keep you reading from cover to cover. The report focuses on our growing community and the movers and shakers who make it all happen.
From our growing city centers to a debate over public-private partnerships, and what developers and landowners should know about bog turtles, we think you'll find the report more than compelling.
Each year the Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business program honors 50 of the state’s most dynamic and aspiring women business leaders.
A program of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and the business journals from across the state, it serves to highlight the women’s contributions to business and the community, and salutes their ability to overcome obstacles in non-traditional work environments.
An independent panel of judges selects the 50 women who are making strides in their fields and their communities.
In addition to being honored at an evening reception, the winners are profiled in a special supplement to the Central Penn Business Journal, Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal, Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal, Pennsylvania Business Central and the Pittsburgh Business Times.
