Curtis said in a statement today that Davis's resignation was effective March 14 and that the UWCCC board will undergo an active search for her replacement, with resource development director Megan Smith serving as the point of contact in the interim.

"The UWCCC Board would like to thank Sherrie for all of her hard work and contributions to our community and we wish her well and much success in her future endeavors," Curtis said in the statement.

Davis has led UWCCC since June 2010. She did not immediately respond to a request for comment this afternoon.
