Pittsburgh-based health insurer Highmark Inc. today introduced Highmark Health Care Reform Planner, a tool it worked with Pittsburgh-based SDLC Partners to create for large employers.

The four-step planner for Highmark customers creates a unique profile using client-specific data and workforce priorities; presents key impacts of reform; models the client’s coverage options and costs; and generates a summary report.

Susquehanna Township-based insurer Capital BlueCross offers its customers an Employer Mandate Calculator.

Both insurers also have Web pages that present health care reform information.
