David Schad, Bennett Williams Realty chairman, dies at 82

The chairman of York-based Bennett Williams Realty Inc., David R. Schad, died Saturday. He was 82.

Schad was with the real estate firm for more than 40 years and was excited for the future of the company, President and CEO Chad Stine said.

His death was somewhat sudden, Stine said.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday.
