Dr. George H. Beauregard is PinnacleHealth's senior vice president and chief clinical officer, focusing on clinical integration across the system and accountable care organization readiness.
Beauregard has 16 years of physician executive experience, most recently as president and CMO of Southcoast Physicians Network. He has held leadership roles at Primary Care LLC and the New England Quality Care Alliance. Prior to that he was an award-winning primary care physician for 18 years. He received his medical degree from the University of New England/College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed residency at Faulkner Hospital in Boston.
Dr. James J. Bleicher is president of PinnacleHealth Medical Group. According to a news release, his vision is to create a system of care, both across the medical group and the health system, to develop the continuity of care that is patient-centric.
A native of Michigan, Bleicher has more than 12 years of executive-level experience. He practiced internal medicine for 10 years before becoming the CEO of a multispecialty practice. After receiving his master's degree at Harvard, he moved to Sedona, Ariz., where he served as the CMO and later CEO of Verde Valley Medical Center, a two-hospital system.
Mark C. Barabas is PinnacleHealth's senior vice president of operations for the West Shore Hospital. He will oversee the timely and effective opening of the West Shore Hospital, including employee selection and training, equipment purchasing and installation, clinical development and integrating the operations function for the hospital into the system.
Barabas has more than 30 years of health care experience. He was most recently president and chief operating officer of Erie County Medical Center Corporation in Buffalo, N.Y. He is a former ACHE Regent for the Empire Region of New York State, held senior administrative positions in both hospital systems and independent hospitals, and is certified as a hospital accreditation surveyor by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program. He received a DHA (master's equivalent) in hospital administration from the University of Toronto.
Tom Stoessel is PinnacleHealth's senior vice president of business development, responsible for the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, as well as service line and current and new business development plans. He works closely with the executive management team to ensure timely and thorough implementation of the strategic initiatives and implement and track additional tactics for growth.
Previously, Stoessel was senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Mount Nittany Health System in State College, where he provided oversight of health system strategic plan development, leadership of its employed physician enterprise with more than 100 providers, new business development, brand strategy and merger and acquisition activity. He received his MBA from Smeal College of Business at Penn State University.
