Gov. Tom Corbett has appointed three Central Pennsylvania leaders to the PA eHealth Partnership Authority's board.

Dr. Gaspere "Gus" C. Geraci, vice president of physician leadership in quality and value at the Pennsylvania Medical Society, will serve as chairman of the board. Corbett noted Geraci's decades of "extensive, broad-based clinical and administrative experience in the medical field."

Thomas Beeman, president and CEO of Lancaster General Health, and Robert Torres, vice president of health information technology at Capital BlueCross, will serve as board members.

The authority provides leadership, strategic direction and investments in health information technology and health information exchange initiatives and coordinates e-health projects statewide.
