York-based Dentsply lands $13M defense contract

Dentsply International Inc. has received a defense contract with a maximum of about $13.7 million for various medical and surgical components, according to a Department of Defense news release.

The performance completion date is Aug. 20, 2013, according to the release. Listed users are military branches and federal civilian agencies.

Shares of the York-based dental supplier are traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol XRAY.
