The single name includes the general construction and design-build construction services of Poole Construction and the industrial and site work construction services of Stewart & Tate, President and CEO Timothy Tate said.

The two previously were marketed under the separate names, he said.

Poole Construction was founded by Richard D. Poole in 1985, and Stewart & Tate purchased a 50-percent share in 2003, according to a news release.

The company purchased the remaining shares of Richard D. Poole LLC in 2008, the release stated. Stewart & Tate was founded in 1935, according to the release.
