The auction, one of the department’s largest ever, will begin at 10 a.m. at Manheim Auto Auctions, 488 Firehouse Road in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, Phillips said in a statement. Registration opens two hours before the auction begins.

Among the vehicles are 126 that the state Department of Transportation acquired from a dealership for a road-widening project.

“These vehicles are the same as you would buy from a dealership, and they present a great opportunity for a bidder to purchase a road-ready vehicle at a fair price,” Phillips said.

Potential buyers may view the vehicles from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday at the auction site. Full information is available on the department’s website.
