The office at 1891 Santa Barbara Drive in Manheim Township began seeing patients shortly before its grand opening July 19. Three providers rotate between Alder's Lancaster and Harrisburg locations offering mental health, primary care, STD- and HIV-support services and prevention programming.
Free walk-in STD testing is offered at the Lancaster office 6-9 p.m. Mondays, with support from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Alder started in Lancaster County as the Lancaster Aids Project in 1985. Its mission is to meet the health needs of the LGBT community, those living with HIV/AIDS and people struggling with addiction.
