The Fair Housing Center at the partnership is presenting the event as the first in a series of forums for landlords.
The seminar will cover checking and understanding applicants' credit, understanding public records, minimizing risk, understanding applicable laws on leases and evictions, and what to do if tenants owe you money, according to a news release.
The event will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Cork Factory Hotel, 480 New Holland Ave. in Lancaster.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion for the seminar, the partnership said. They can network with other landlords and provide feedback to help shape future trainings.
The event is sponsored by the Credit Bureau of Lancaster County Inc. and Blakinger, Byler & Thomas, both based in Lancaster.
