Harrisburg-based Quandel Group Inc. renovated the former Steelton High School and Steelton-Highspire Elementary School for Pennrose Properties, a multifamily development and residential property management company in Philadelphia.

The Felton School dates to 1882.

Pennrose took over the project in 2010. The historic school has been converted into 83 affordable family housing units.
