Lancaster’s Wish You Were Here closing Sunday
After two decades in downtown Lancaster, Wish You Were Here is closing.

The last day for the restaurant, which specialized in vegan and vegetarian fare, will be Sunday.

“I’ve been doing this for nine years, and I don’t think I can do it any more. It’s time for me to do something else,” co-owner Robin Murphy said. She and Joseph Clark bought the business from its founder in 2001.

Murphy said she has sold Wish You Were Here and that a new business will take its place, but she declined to comment further.

Murphy also said she plans to start “an offshoot business,” but declined to discuss details.
